Bottle service sounds fancier than it is. At its core it's a simple trade: you reserve a table, you get a dedicated spot and a server, and your bottles come to you instead of you standing in line at the bar. Quick disclosure before we explain it: we don't sell bottle service — Cabo Party Pass sells open-bar passes and hosted crawls. The clubs sell tables at their own doors. Here's the plain-English version of what that product is.
What's included
- A reserved table for your group, so you're not hunting for space on a busy night.
- A server who takes care of your table through the night.
- Bottles brought to the table with mixers, so you pour your own drinks at your own pace — usually with a sparkler show when they land.
What it costs downtown
Booked directly with a club, a VIP table in downtown Cabo generally means a minimum spend of a few hundred dollars plus bottles at club prices — a mid-size group typically lands somewhere between $600 and $1,000 for one club's table before tip, and more on peak nights. That's the market rate for real estate on a packed floor. If a table is your night, book it directly with the venue; our complete VIP table guide covers prices and how to do it right.
What we sell instead
Our lane is the open-bar night. 2hrs of Open Bar Downtown is $64 per person for two hours of unlimited house drinks at El Squid Roe, Crush, Saloon, or Balam — your pick — with express entry and taxes included. Best Clubs in Cabo is $114 for express entry at three top clubs with a VIP host and open bar house drinks at every one. Both reserve with a small per-guest deposit ($13 or $24) and the balance is paid at check-in — the deposit is simply the reserved part of the pass price, never an extra fee and never a tip. Gratuity isn't included on any pass; tip your server and host directly like anywhere in Mexico.
Who a table is for
Table service shines for big celebrations that want a guaranteed home base instead of fighting for the bar. If it's just two of you, walk up and find a bar; a table is overkill. And if your group came to drink and dance rather than sit, the per-person math of an open-bar pass beats a table almost every time — that comparison is our open bar vs bottle service breakdown.
The bottom line
Bottle service is a reserved spot, service, and convenience on a packed dance floor, at club-table market rates booked direct with the venue. For most groups, the smarter play is the one we actually sell: an open-bar pass from $64, reserved with $13 a head — book the open bar or book Best Clubs in Cabo and the door's already handled.
