Landmarks & walking notes
- The meeting point is on Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas, the main strip through downtown Cabo San Lucas — you cannot miss the giant El Squid Roe sign, and your host is right at the entrance under it.
- It is a short, flat walk from the Cabo San Lucas Marina and the boardwalk (malecón). If you are staying near the marina or downtown, you can easily walk over.
- Coming from the hotel zone or the Corridor resorts, it is a short taxi ride — just tell the driver El Squid Roe; every driver in town knows it.
Taxis & rideshare
Plan your rides: Transportation isn't included with any pass, so plan the trip both ways — a ride to the El Squid Roe entrance before the crawl and a taxi back after the finale. Downtown, taxis queue right on the main strip.
Taxis & rideshare: Taxis are plentiful throughout Cabo San Lucas and drop you right at the meeting point on the boulevard. Agree on the fare before you get in. Driving yourself is the one bad idea on this page — downtown parking is scarce at night and you will be drinking; take a taxi.
When to arrive
Nights run roughly 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Be at the El Squid Roe entrance at the meeting time on your confirmation — a few minutes early means the whole group checks in together and nobody chases the route.
