Plan Your Night

Know Before You Go

Everything you need before you meet your host at El Squid Roe — ID rules, dress code, what to bring, and exactly how payment works.

Bar crawl group out at night on the Cabo Party Pass route through downtown Cabo San Lucas — what to expect before you go

Dress Code

Casual — this is a bar crawl, not a gala. Shirts and shoes required, and come dressed to dance.

Works great
  • Jeans, shorts, sundresses, t-shirts
  • Clean sneakers or comfortable shoes you can dance in
  • Whatever your group's theme is — sashes, matching shirts, go for it
Leave it at the hotel
  • Swimwear — it won't get you through any door at night
  • No shirt or no shoes, no crawl
  • Anything you'd cry about losing on a dance floor

Age & ID

Every pass is 18 and over with valid government ID. That's the legal drinking age in Mexico, and every venue on the route checks. Bring the real thing for every guest — a passport or government photo ID; a photo of your ID on your phone won't be accepted at any door.

What to Expect

One host, the best bars downtown, and zero lines — a night that starts at the entrance of El Squid Roe and ends on its dance floor.

  • Meet your host at the entrance of El Squid Roe at the time on your confirmation — the whole group checks in together.
  • Nights run roughly 9:30 pm to 2 am, moving through downtown's best bars and clubs.
  • Your host handles every door, every entry, and the route — you just keep up.
  • Every night finishes at El Squid Roe, the flagship club we own. Pace yourself: welcome shots add up, so alternate with water — your host always knows where to grab a bottle.

How the Deposit Works

This is the part people get wrong, so read it carefully — it makes check-in take thirty seconds.

  • You reserve online with a small per-person deposit: $13 for the 2hrs of Open Bar Downtown, Downtown Cabo Bar Crawl and Bachelor •ette Party passes, $24 for Best Clubs in Cabo.
  • The deposit is an advance on your pass total — not a fee, and never a tip.
  • The remaining balance ($51 or $90 per person) is paid at check-in when you meet your host.
  • The deposit is NOT the full price of your pass. It reserves your group's spots for your date.

Your deposit is a down payment on your own night, never a fee — it comes off your balance in full at check-in. Plans change? Date changes are free with 72 hours' notice, and deposits are refundable up to 72 hours before your date.

Payment & Gratuity

  • The balance is paid at check-in — cash, Visa, or Mastercard, in US dollars or Mexican pesos.
  • Taxes are already included in every pass price. No surprise line items.
  • Gratuity is not included. A tip for your host is appreciated, never required, and never auto-added.
  • Some venue packages include gratuity in their own menu prices — your host will flag those so nobody tips twice.

Getting There

Meeting point: Entrance of El Squid Roe — Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas 1112, downtown Cabo San Lucas

  • It's the heart of downtown by the Marina — walkable from most downtown hotels and the marina boardwalk.
  • Taxis and rideshare drop right out front. Just say El Squid Roe; every driver knows it.
  • Coming from the hotel zone or the Corridor? It's a short taxi ride — transportation isn't included with any pass, so agree on the fare first and plan the ride back too.

Quick Answers

Where do we meet on the night?+

At the entrance of El Squid Roe, Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas 1112, downtown Cabo San Lucas. Your host is waiting there at the meeting time on your confirmation. Nights run roughly 9:30 pm to 2 am.

What's the age requirement?+

18 and over with a valid government-issued photo ID or passport — the legal drinking age in Mexico. Every venue checks, and a photo of your ID on your phone won't be accepted.

What's the dress code?+

Casual. Shirts and shoes are required and swimwear won't get you in at night — beyond that, dress to dance. Group themes, sashes, and matching shirts are welcome.

Is the online deposit the full price of my pass?+

No. The deposit ($13 or $24 per person depending on your pass) is an advance that reserves your spots. The balance ($51 or $90) is paid at check-in when you meet your host — and the deposit comes off your total in full.

How do I pay the balance?+

At check-in, at the El Squid Roe entrance — cash, Visa, or Mastercard, in US dollars or Mexican pesos.

What are house drinks?+

The venue's standard well and pour menu — beer, national spirits, and standard cocktails and shots. Premium drinks aren't included on any pass.

Is gratuity included?+

No — and it's never auto-added. Tipping your host is appreciated but never required. Where a venue package already includes gratuity in its price, your host will point it out so you don't double-tip.
