Search "Cabo bar crawl" and you'll see prices from $60 to $85 per person — some prepaid in full, some with deposits, some with fees that only appear at the end. We run the doors these crawls walk through, so here are the real 2026 numbers, including our own, down to the dollar.
The short answer
A hosted bar crawl in Cabo San Lucas costs $60–$85 USD per person in 2026. Our Downtown Cabo Bar Crawl is $64 per person, taxes included — you reserve online with a $13/person deposit and pay the $51 balance at check-in. Transportation, premium drinks, and gratuity are extra on every crawl in town, whoever runs it.
What the market charges (and how they charge it)
Most crawls in Cabo fall into one of three checkout models:
- Full prepay ($80–$85): you pay everything online before you've met anyone. If plans change, you're negotiating a refund by email from another country.
- Marketplace listings ($60–$120): the same crawls resold through big tour platforms, sometimes with a markup, always with the platform's cut baked in.
- Deposit-to-reserve (what we do): a small per-person deposit locks your spot; the balance is paid in person at check-in. If you cancel 72+ hours out, the deposit comes back in full.
Watch for the quiet add-ons
The advertised price is rarely the final price. Things to check before you book anything — ours included:
- Obligatory gratuity: some crawls require a mandatory tip per person, collected in cash by the guide. Ours doesn't — gratuity is never included and never forced; you tip your host and servers directly, like anywhere in Mexico.
- "All you can drink" fine print: in every crawl in town, open bar means house drinks — domestic rum, vodka, tequila, gin, beer. Premium bottles and energy drinks are extra everywhere. Anyone who doesn't say that up front is saving the news for the bar.
- Transportation: no downtown crawl includes hotel pickup at these prices. Downtown Cabo is compact — the whole route is walkable once you arrive.
Our 2026 prices, to the dollar
All passes are per person, taxes included, and every dollar of the deposit counts toward the total:
- Downtown Cabo Bar Crawl — $64: 5 top bars, VIP host, welcome house shot at each stop, 1 hour of open bar house drinks at El Squid Roe, drink specials all night. Reserve for $13.
- 2hrs of Open Bar Downtown — $64: two hours of unlimited house drinks at El Squid Roe, Crush, Saloon, or Balam, plus express entry. Reserve for $13.
- Bachelor •ette Party — $64: the crawl plus a party checklist for the bride or groom. Reserve for $13.
- Best Clubs in Cabo — $112: express entry at 3 top clubs with open bar house drinks at every one and a VIP host. Reserve for $24.
Not included, stated plainly: transportation, premium drinks, gratuity. That's true of every crawl in Cabo — we're just the ones who put it in writing.
Why our math can be lower
We're not a reseller. Our family has owned El Squid Roe — the three-floor landmark on Blvd. Lázaro Cárdenas — since 1989, and the other stops are longtime downtown partners. When you own the door, there's no middleman margin between your ticket and the venue, and no cover charges to pass along. That's the whole trick.
Is a bar crawl worth it vs. going alone?
Do the math on a solo night downtown: covers run $15–$20 per club and cocktails around $8 plus tip. Two covers and five drinks and you've spent more than a $64 pass — without the express entry, the host, or the open-bar hour. If you're only hitting one bar, buy your own drinks. If you want the night to move, the pass wins on arithmetic alone.
Ready to lock a date? Reserve your night for $13 a person and the rest is settled at the door.
Ready to plan your night?
Reserve your pass with a small per-person deposit — the balance is due at check-in, and date changes are free with 72 hours' notice.
